You know that we generally allow Strud and his sister Thunder on the kitchen table even though we shouldn’t. Well, yesterday it proved to serve a purpose.
Thunder stood up on the table and started barking and barking, which she never does. Doug went over to the window to see what she was upset about only to find our large and heavy basketball hoop had fallen into the pool. It caused an unusual splash that clearly got Thunder’s attention.
The kids were totally fine, but she was warning us that something could be wrong. What a good girl!
For the record, Strudwick did not bark – but did eat our daughter’s soccer ball.
