The Explosive Key Detail About the Lone Black Male Lindsay Clancy Juror as He Purportedly Speaks Out

After days of smears from the media and his fellow jurors and a word from his brother, the lone juror in the Lindsay Clancy murder trial has purportedly broken his silence.

Ray Marcel, host of the Fugitive TV YouTube channel, says he talked to the man for about an hour on Tuesday about both the Clancy case and his controversial past.

To verify he spoke to the juror, whom The Megyn Kelly Show is choosing to identify by his first name “Michael,” Marcel showed a picture of the juror’s summons in the case. He later posted pictures of Michael on X with the caption, “This is the Lindsay Clancy juror Michael. He sent me these photos. Do not send anyone any money that is not him.”

The Alleged Revelations

Marcel says Michael told him there is more to the story about the domestic abuse allegations involving his now ex-wife, including that he allegedly filed for divorce after learning she was an illegal immigrant. In an interview with The New York Post, the juror’s brother described him and their family as “devoutly Catholic Haitian immigrant[s].”

Regarding the 2021 incident with his nephew that led to a restraining order, Michael told Marcel the nephew is much bigger than him and not everything that has been reported is accurate. While the explanation does not excuse any violence that may have occurred, it does suggest there is more to the story than the reporting from the Boston Globe and NBC Boston let on.

Marcel also said he talked to Michael about what happened in the jury room. Here is how Marcel summarized Michael’s characterization of the jury:

MARCEL: He said that from day one… eight of them were going for Lindsay Clancy not guilty. That was on day one… Eight were going not guilty, two were for guilty, and two didn’t know. They didn’t make up their mind. Now that was on day one. He told me that the eight that on day one were going for a Lindsay not guilty, he said, to him, those eight felt he felt like they were activists… And every day he said they would vote… He said the eight that felt that Lindsay was not guilty were trying to convince the other four, hey, Lindsay’s not guilty.

Marcel pointed to a possible reason why the other jurors were so upset with Michael: He is allegedly a black Republican.

MARCEL: Very well spoken person. Very well spoken. Very nice. Very kind. Catholic. And you want to hear something very funny? We started talking. He thinks he knows why he might be getting targeted. He’s a Republican. He is a black Republican. He has conservative views. He believes he might be getting targeted because of that. Because the media and the reporters, as you see, they kind of have left views. He was in a juror panel with people of the Democratic Party. Now we don’t know if that is the reason, but we talked about it, and then as soon as he told me that he was Republican, it’s just common sense. I said this makes sense now.

Additionally, Marcel says Michael maintains that he did not lie on his juror questionnaire about his background as has been suggested in the media.

MARCEL: On the questionnaire, did he lie, or didn’t he lie? He told me he didn’t lie. He told me he checked the box that he was supposed to check. ‘Have you ever been arrested?’ And he says he knows he checked it because he had to describe what happened after he checked that. So he checked it and described what happened. He said he got on the stand, and I guess the prosecutor asked him questions. The prosecutor questioned him, and then guess what after that? He was selected. So, in his words, he said, no, he didn’t lie on the questionnaire. He was questioned by the prosecution, and was selected.
