Bill and Hillary Clinton said ‘buongiorno’ to Italy over the weekend, enjoying a power lunch along the Amalfi Coast with Barry Diller and Diane von Fürstenberg before making their way to Sicily.
Video posted on social media shows the couple wandering the streets of the Italian island, though not exactly hand in hand. Watch:
“Bill Clinton and Hillary Clinton are still together after all these years. They jetted off to Europe for a summer vacation, and I just want to show you the tape because they just look like the perfect lovebirds. I mean, you can see that they’re keeping the flame alive,” Megyn quipped on Tuesday’s Megyn Kelly Show. “They clearly still want nothing to do with one another… I don’t know what goes on in that weird marriage, but I love watching it from afar.”
Couple’s Style
What is getting the most attention online is the Clinton’s couple’s style. The former first lady ditched her signature pantsuit for a more casual black and white striped long-sleeved shirt, white pants, a baseball cap, and sunglasses.
Megyn was not alone in suggesting the shirt called to mind a certain fictional character from a beloved fast food chain: “She is dressed like the Hamburglar meandering the streets of Italy.”
You be the judge:

The ex-president, meanwhile, turned heads in a blue short-sleeve shirt that showed a bit more skin than we are used to seeing from the 79 year old, ankle-length skinny (!) jeans, and sneakers.
“His shirt looks like it needs another button up top and, if you can see the pants, I’m not sure why they are so short,” Megyn said. “He’s got the naked ankle thing going that some of the hipster young guys do these days.”
Ruthless co-host Josh Holmes speculated that Bubba was just trying to show off for his foreign (female) fans. “He’s got the shirt unbuttoned, he’s got the tight jeans, the ankle roll – he’s trying to attract the Italian women, if you ask me,” he joked. “The man’s not out of the game yet.”
‘MAGA-Adjacent’ Accessory
Perhaps most interestingly, the former commander in chief topped off his riviera-inspired look with a bright red baseball cap that bears a striking resemblance to the signature accessory of one of his predecessors.

Megyn called the headwear, which was emblazoned with a giant “42” on one side to represent his presidency and the American flag on the other, “MAGA-adjacent,” and John Ashbrook agreed it appears to be a nod to President Donald Trump.
“The MAGA-adjacent hat is very interesting to me because, in 2024, I think we all remember when Bill Clinton was on the stump in Georgia talking about how important it was that Democrats start talking about the border again, and all the lefties were like, ‘How dare you say that? That’s off message. You can’t say it,'” he recalled. “But he put ’42’ on his hat, and I really think there are some aspects to Trump that Clinton secretly admires.”
It is a “fascinating theory,” in Megyn’s view, when you consider the politics. “I believe it because Trump is a moderate. Trump is not at all the crazy figure that the media portrays him to be,” she noted. “And I’ll bet you… [Clinton] probably hates the DSA. He probably hated the open border. He was a more moderate Dem.”
“I wonder if he is telegraphing a message there, like, you could be MAGA-adjacent and that might be preferable,” she theorized. “It might be a better way to run for office as a Dem than far-left, get rid of the U.S. Senate, get rid of the Pentagon, get rid of police, get rid of prisons, all that mania, which is not me being unfair to them. That is actually the DSA’s platform.”
