After months of refusing to comply with Congressional subpoenas to testify before the House Oversight Committee as part of its investigation of the Department of Justice’s handling of the Jeffrey Epstein case, Bill and Hillary Clinton are sitting for depositions.
The former first lady and secretary of state was up first on Thursday, with the ex-president to follow on Friday. In her opening statement, Hillary claimed she “could not recall ever encountering” Epstein, but her husband will not be able to use that same defense when he is under oath.
It is widely known Bill had a close relationship with Epstein that brought the disgraced financier and convicted sex offender to the White House on multiple occasions in the 1990s. After leaving office, the former president traveled on Epstein’s private jet as their interactions continued through 2003.

One photo released in the latest dump of ‘Epstein Files’ shows Bill in a hot tub surrounded by women whose faces have been redacted. “There’s zero question that Bill and Jeffrey palled around quite a bit, and he is going to have to answer for his pictures in Epstein’s hot tub with a bunch of women whose faces have been censored,” Megyn said on Thursday’s edition of The Megyn Kelly Show.
While Megyn said the former president has been “trying to diminish the amount of time they spent together, for obvious reasons,” she believes the Epstein Files evidence and what is known about his behavior in general will not help his cause.
“There is no question that Bill was not shamed at all after the Monica Lewinsky scandal out of his hound dog behavior, to put it mildly,” Megyn said before revealing she had her “own piece of evidence” that proves “he wasn’t shamed at all.”
Megyn said she had permission to share a photo taken in 1999 of two of her friends with the then-president of the United States at The Bombay Club restaurant in Washington, D.C.

“He is looking down the chest of my friend, Meg Florence, and that’s my other friend in the foreground, Abby Rittman. He’s basically got his hand on her side boob,” Megyn explained. “He was there with his wife and daughter and went over to their table… introduced himself, [and], before you know it, he wanted pictures.”
Megyn said her friends, who were with a group of people, were around 20 years old at the time. “I’m not saying this is a crime,” she noted. “I’m just saying [he was] not chastised at all as a result of Lewinsky.”
Creepiness vs. Control
Megyn’s guest, Tucker Carlson, said the issue goes beyond whether the ex-commander in chief was chastised for his behavior. “No, not chastised but, instead, controlled,” he posited. “Obviously, Clinton is creepy. I know people who have slept with Clinton. Everyone knows people who have slept with Clinton. That’s who he is. That is his fundamental weakness, and it is the means by which he is controlled by others.”
In Carlson’s view, that is the real story here. “Some men are super creepy. Bill Clinton, for example,” he said. “But it is their creepiness being used against them for what end? That is kind of the question I am… fascinated by.”
“I see the most powerful people in the world making the biggest decisions on behalf of the United States without the input of American voters or even really the consent of American politicians,” Carlson added. “Who runs the world actually? You don’t get the answer from the Epstein Files so far, but you get tantalizing hints.”
“And again, it’s not voters [and] it’s not even presidents,” he concluded. “You think Bill Clinton is in control at this point? Of course not, right? That’s the amazing thing to me.”
