‘Drive, Baby, Drive’: Breaking Down the Lies About the Minneapolis ICE Shooting Despite Clear Video Evidence

News out of Minneapolis continues to dominate the headlines.

Before we left air on Friday, Alpha News released a video that showed the shooting of 37-year-old Renee Nicole Good from the perspective of the ICE officer who fired the shots.

After we wrapped, our producer Jake Whitman pointed out something most in the media have missed. Right as the agent was about to be hit, he yelled “woah.” You can hear his fright. You can tell he is getting hit by a car and scared, as he should be, for his life. Watch the moment in the clip below:

First of all, you could hear, “Whoa, whoa” and the gunshot simultaneously as he was obviously being hit by the car and fearing for his life. It is all right there on the tape. And you hear not once, not twice, not three times, but four times, the officers say, “Get out of the car.” Remember when the left tried to tell us that they gave her conflicting instructions? That they also told her to drive away? No, they didn’t. It was her wife who said at the end of that clip, “Drive, baby, drive.”

The wife told her to drive, and she did, hitting him and almost running over this agent. That is what happened. The officers were totally consistent. These ICE agents, who have arrest authority, said “get out of the car” four times.

The Wife

The wife said, “Drive, baby, drive.” Renee Good listened to the wife, who should be arrested. She was aiding and abetting the resisting of arrest and fleeing from a crime scene. She was committing a felony. You could make a good case for felony murder here. She should be in custody right now.

And where is her video? She was filming the ICE officer, but that footage hasn’t been made public. Why didn’t she leak that to the Minneapolis Star Tribune? She is not going to go to Alpha News, but she could go to the Star Tribune, or to MS NOW, or to NPR, or to any of these outlets that could not be more in the tank for her. And yet she hasn’t.

Why is that? Do you think that if that videotape actually helped her side she would be keeping it private? I don’t think so. I think we all know the reason that she hasn’t made it public the way, clearly, the officer involved in this thing did.

Now, we have media personalities out there upset about the fact that the officer was videotaping this incident to begin with. As the video released by Alpha News shows, it started with him circling around Renee Good’s car with his phone. He was videotaping the car and license plate, as ICE has been doing to make a record of these ne’er do wells who are breaking the law.

Renee Good was parked perpendicularly blocking traffic. If you went out in your neighborhood and you decided to park your car perpendicular to the oncoming traffic, do you think somebody might pull you aside? Do you think you would be in trouble with law enforcement? Do you think you would be complying with the law? I don’t think so. That is why he was videotaping the vehicle – including license plate – which the wife knew because she became antagonistic with him.

Changing the Narrative

And how about the antagonism? The left is claiming Renee Good’s last words were some cheery “I’m not mad at you” comment. That wasn’t a cheery little comment. She was very clearly antagonizing the police. It was meant to telegraph ‘fuck off.’ Everyone sane understands that. And the leftists know that, too. They are misrepresenting it.

On X, the Democrat Party put out a screen grab of Good with her fake smile. They actually want us to believe she was so sweet. What a lie. That is so obvious.

Here is what the caption of their post reads:

Newly-released footage reveals Renee Nicole Good’s last words.

Renee Nicole Good: “That’s fine, dude. I’m not mad at you.

*gunshots*

ICE: “Fuckin’ bitch.”

That is pure propaganda. That is exactly the kind of thing that is amping up the temperature in Minneapolis and elsewhere and that is going to get an ICE officer killed. That is what I am worried about.

I am sorry that Renee Good is dead. I genuinely am. But she brought it upon herself. You don’t antagonize cops in the middle of a law enforcement operation. She was the antagonist. She was about to be the arrestee. She knew very well what was about to happen to her. That is one of the reasons why, potentially, she tried to floor her accelerator.

There is a big debate about whether she was just trying to get away or run over the officer. I have to say, I don’t care and it doesn’t matter legally. Her reasons for almost running him over are irrelevant. All that is relevant is he reasonably believed that he was about to be run over by her. But here you have the Democrat Party putting out this little ad that suggests she said, “I’m not mad at you,” and he shot her in the face and called her a “fucking bitch.”

By the way, it has now been reported that the officer who used that term was not the officer who fired. It was a different officer who was obviously upset over the fact that she had just tried to kill a fellow officer. At that point, they didn’t know what happened to the woman. These officers are human beings. If he was feeling steam after the fact that she, in his view, almost killed at least two of these cops (because one had his arm in her car), who could blame him for not feeling totally warm and fuzzy about her?

Additional Footage

There is more new video of Renee Good’s actions the day of the fatal shooting. Footage obtained by Townhall reporter Dustin Grage shows Good laying on the horn and blocking traffic for over three minutes. Watch here:

She appears to be dancing in the driver’s seat. She was seemingly enjoying blocking traffic for over three minutes in that perpendicular position before these ICE officers even showed up at the scene to confront her.

Despite the new footage, Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey continued with the narrative that Good played no role in what happened to her.

FREY: ICE agent was not run over, as Trump stated. You had a person that was definitively trying to just get out of there. They were trying to leave the scene. That is not a person that’s trying to run an ICE agent over. You have a person that is trying to protect our city, to look out for our neighbors. When there is debate about baseline facts, like, for instance, did the  ICE agent get run over? Guys, the answer is, no. It didn’t happen.

There you have somebody being totally irresponsible with the facts. He is on a mission to sound like he is the avenger. He is the one who is going to stand up for all the poor, innocent victims that big, bad ICE is randomly shooting for no reason whatsoever. And he is not alone.

Social media was flooded with a “Karen Intifada” of leftist white women. These unhappy, empty-lived leftists are now vowing to take on law enforcement pretending like they are both like a badass, cop-busting, vigilante type and also the victim because they are already the next Renee Good. They are creating these impossible standards for people like this officer so that they can push this narrative.

Doing Their Job

An ICE agent is going to get killed thanks to the atmosphere all of these Democrat politicians and left-wing loons are creating. These officers are doing their job. That’s all. They have children. They have wives and husbands. They have moms and dads. They do not deserve to be threatened to within an inch of their lives just for doing their job.

This agent did not show up on the job wanting to shoot Renee Good. He was out on the beat that day trying to do good – trying to arrest child molesters and other disgusting, violent criminals hurting the children and innocent of Minneapolis. That is what they are trying to do, and these people are trying to endanger them.
