The Strudwick File: Package Protection Program, Part V

If you are a longtime reader of The Strudwick File, you know Strud is an accomplished package thief. His SWAT-like swiping skills are so strong, Megyn and Doug have had to take various measures to protect their deliveries.

There is this sign on their lawn at the Jersey Shore that asks delivery drivers to not put packages on the porch:

That didn’t end up working quite as well as they hoped (case in point), so Megyn took more extreme measures in Connecticut. Enter, the ultimate package protector:

The box is highly effective… when packages are actually placed in it. Unfortunately, a recent Amazon delivery did not make it to safety before our four-legged friend made off with it. Megyn didn’t even know it was missing until she came upon this scene in the yard:

In case you were wondering if Strud feels any guilt, he appears to be taking the ‘nothing to see here’ approach:

“I never did figure out what was in there or where it went,” Megyn said. “But almost certainly he ate whatever it was.”
