Megyn Brings Receipts on Stormy Daniels’ Inconsistent Testimony About Her Alleged Encounter with Trump

Stormy Daniels is expected back on the stand in Manhattan criminal court on Thursday after her salacious testimony on Tuesday made headlines across the nation.

If you ask me, it did not go well for Stormy. You may hear something different if you listen to MSNBC, but Donald Trump is actually doing well in this case on a number of fronts – though I still think he is going to lose it.

To the mainstream media, however, this is the most exciting thing that has happened to them in years. Silk pajamas! Ah, he was dressed like Hugh Hefner! STDs, they had a chat about them! Missionary position! Tell us more.

I’m telling you, we called it on this show when we did our fake porn reenactment a few weeks ago, reading the media’s write-ups about just him sitting there during voir dire of the potential jurors. Now, they are at actual sex and the media is beside itself.

Revisionist History

What they seemed to miss amidst all of their focus on the prurient details was the revisionist history told by Stormy Daniels on the stand. Fortunately, we’ve kept the receipts.

When Stormy was on The View this past March, we reported on her change of tune regarding the alleged encounter that she had with Donald Trump. Back in March 2018, she told Anderson Cooper on 60 Minutes that what happened that night was definitely not a #MeToo situation. Then, to The View a month ago, she said after seeing the movie Bombshell – which was about the sexual harassment scandal at Fox News – she now believes there was a power imbalance between her and Trump.

MARCH 2018: They’re trying to, like, ‘Oh, you know, Stormy Daniels comes out #MeToo.’ This is not a Me Too.

MARCH 2024: I did remember a little more of the words that he said to me because, originally, I didn’t know that they were that important because they weren’t direct threats… It was more like, ‘I thought you wanted to be a, you know, I thought you wanted to be successful. You have to show me what it takes.’ It was a that kind of thing. And I didn’t really realize the gravity of that until I watched the movie, here I must say the word again, Bombshell.

“That kind of thing.” That kind of language is a qualifier, which means he may have said nothing of the sort. And I am just going to go ahead and say it didn’t happen. That is a new fact she has offered just now in anticipation of her testimony and while they are doing a documentary about her.

Stormy’s Testimony

But don’t take my word for it. Here is a closer look at what she said on the stand this week versus what she has said in the past. Keep in mind, she testified on Tuesday to how much she now hates Donald Trump and how much she would like to see him incarcerated.

Speaking about the night she says they had sex in 2006, Stormy Daniels testified that she “blacked out,” clearly implying to the jury that this was a traumatic event. So traumatic, she blacked out despite not consuming any drugs or alcohol. Here’s what she said on the stand, per The Washington Post in the courtroom.

She had gone to the bathroom to freshen up – this is before they had any interlude. And when she emerged from the bathroom, she was surprised to find Trump wearing a t-shirt and boxers and sitting on the bed. She testified to the following:

“That’s when I had that moment when I felt like the room spun in full motion. And I felt the blood leave my hands and my feet almost like if you stand up too fast. Trump stood up between me and the door, not in a threatening manner. I think I blacked out. Next thing I know, I was on the bed. I was staring at the ceiling. I don’t know how I got there.”

She talked about the sex that they had. She described the position in which it happened. After the sex act, she testified: “My hands were shaking so hard, I was having a hard time getting dressed.”

Alright, so that’s her on the stand this week. It was traumatic. He had blocked her way from leaving when she exited the bathroom, though not in a threatening manner. And she was so shaken up that she actually was physically shaking and could barely get dressed. That’s her testimony before the jury.

Stormy Circa 2011

Back in 2011, Stormy Daniels gave an interview to InTouch magazine. It wasn’t printed until 2018 because Michael Cohen was called for comment on that magazine article in 2011 and he threatened to sue them.

Boy, oh boy. How times have changed.

InTouch finally ran with in 2018, and here’s what she told the outlet regarding the encounter with Trump:

“We started kissing. I actually don’t even know why I did it. But I do remember while we were having sex, I was like, ‘please don’t try to pay me.’ And then I remember thinking, ‘but I bet if he did it would be a lot.’”

Okay, so far from being “blacked out,” she was well aware of what was happening and she was thinking about money? Stormy went on:

“You know, it was one position – what you would expect someone his age to do. It wasn’t bad. Don’t get me wrong. I was more, like, fascinated. I was definitely stimulated. We had a really good banter, good conversation for a couple of hours. I could tell he was nice, intelligent in conversation.”

That is her description in 2011, alright? He’s “fascinating,” she was “stimulated” by him, and the sex itself wasn’t bad. Compare that to “blacked out,” “I was shaking,” “the blood rushed out of my extremities.” Come on!

The reporter for InTouch also asked, “Did you think the conversation would have led to what happened?” In other words, did you think that you were going to have sex? Stormy: “Yeah.”

Okay, so she wasn’t really surprised, as she testified on stand. She wasn’t surprised at all. She knew when having the conversation this was leading to sex. She was not shocked, as she now claims, when she exited the bathroom to find him ready for it. This is all revisionist history.

The InTouch reporter also asked, “Were you attracted to him?” She responded, “Would you be?” And here is where she said, “I was more, like, fascinated,” “I was definitely stimulated,” “we had a really good banter.”

So, she was stimulated, and had good banter, and found him fascinating and interesting and a nice guy, and not somebody who behaved in some way that caused her to blackout and lose the blood in her extremities.

In the full InTouch interview, Stormy never talks about not remembering details, being shaky, or having trouble getting dressed. In 2018 when speaking to 60 Minutes and Anderson Cooper, she did not use any of those words either. Instead, she laughed at times.

DANIELS: So, I excuse myself. I went to the restroom. You know, I was in there for a little bit and came out and he was sitting, you know, on the edge of the bed when I walked out, perched.

COOPER: And when you saw that, what went through your mind?

DANIELS: I realized exactly what I’d gotten myself into [laughs]. And I was like, ‘Ughh, here we go.’ And I just felt like maybe it was sort of, I had it coming for making a bad decision, for going to someone’s room alone, and I just heard the voice in my head: ‘Well, you put yourself in a bad situation and bad things happen, so you deserve this.’

COOPER: And you had sex with him?

DANIELS: Yeah.

Unbelievable. And still, at that time, it was not a #MeToo situation. She was not suggesting that in any way.
