MK Confidential opens on the front door of Zenaida Fernandez-Gonzalez. Sheriff’s deputies knock on the door and ask to search her house for a missing toddler. She has never met Casey Anthony, or her daughter Caylee. She’s cleared by the police that same day — and then her phone number gets out, the threatening calls start. She loses her job and her reputation. All for sharing a name with someone Casey Anthony invented.
Megyn traces that invented nanny back to 2006, two years before Caylee disappears. Casey describes a babysitter her family never meets, attached to a man Casey barely knows and a little boy who does not exist.
