Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) is trying to downplay the carnage woke ideology played in American society. She is not going to get away with that. I am so angry about her ridiculous attempt to just dismiss the pain she led a movement to cause on, ‘Oh, we’re just temporarily nuts. Bye.’ No.
Nice try, madam, right before the next presidential campaign gets underway, but it’s a no. You are the leader in causing death and destruction across our country with your bizarre views on police and so-called ‘trans’ children. Kids were sterilized. They had body parts chopped off. Black Americans who are living in poor areas of major metropolitan cities are dead because of your insane, woke defund the police policies.
So-Called ‘Woke One’
F-you if you think you can dismiss it with your little giggle and your made-up face on a Sunday show saying “Woke One was crazy.” Hard pass on your attempt to pass the buck that way. This is the 2028 play for sure. She is trying to moderate to the middle. She is refusing to rule out that she might run. She might go for Senate first. I can’t say that is not possible, but she thinks she is going to be president and she is trying to position herself from a place that she could launch it.
There is zero chance anybody who would oppose AOC should let her off the hook this easily. Unlike your socialist comrade, Senator Bernie Sanders, who never much got into the woke cultural wars – he has this staunch populist economic message, but doesn’t buy into this other shit – you did. It is in writing. You are all over the record on it.
You will not be permitted to dismiss it and disown it so cavalierly without a full mea culpa, an explanation of how you realized how wrong you were, and an apology to the millions you harmed by foisting this madness into their classrooms and their dorm rooms and their places of employment and their communities, which literally led some into the funeral parlor.
I am disgusted by what I saw on ABC This Week on Sunday. I just honestly couldn’t believe my eyes as she giggled back and forth with Jonathan Karl, who was completely enamored with her, about “Woke 1.” She was trying to just shrug off, like a youthful indiscretion, the excesses of woke, which now she wants to call “Woke One,” as though it’s separate and distinct and can be something that is disavowed, unlike “Woke Two.”
It is all woke. Woke is one thing, and it has been foisted on us by lunatics like AOC for the better part of a decade now.
AOC on ABC
Here she was trying to dismiss it because they were talking about this DSA gubernatorial candidate Francesca Hong in Wisconsin. She is the nutcase who wanted to cancel Thanksgiving and said we shouldn’t be celebrating it. Now that she is running for a statewide office, however, she says it is her favorite holiday. I can’t keep up with these people, but here was AOC trying to write it off as no big deal.
KARL: What do you make of those controversial statements? I’m sure you’ve seen… the Thanksgiving dust-up. She says she doesn’t, you know, still believe that. But, you know, the abolished prisons, abolished police… which is also positions that have been taken by a lot of the progressive candidates who have won. How do you get around that?

OCASIO-CORTEZ: My understanding is that, is that Francesca Hong has made clear her present stances to her electorate.
KARL: Yeah, she’s moved away from a lot of that.
OCASIO-CORTEZ: Right, she’s moved away from it. And I have a local city councilman that has this saying, ‘Woke One was crazy.’

KARL: What was — I mean did the movement go too far with some of those positions? I mean you — you briefly supported the idea of defunding the police.
OCASIO-CORTEZ: Well, you know, I think that during this time and during, especially during Covid, there was a huge opening of the Overton Window… And I think that the doors were really open in trying to entertain any and every policy that was going to get us to a better place…
The Receipts
This was AOC in June 2020 on X: “Defunding police means defunding police. It does not mean budget tricks or funny math.”
During a House hearing in September 2020, she said: “Far too much of the discussion around the issue of white supremacist infiltration of policing focuses on whether the problem exists at all. And we have known for generations that it is not a question about whether this problem is an issue. It is a matter of how we have allowed it to sustain for so long.”
She wants to abolish ICE. She wants to abolish DHS. She wants to ‘trans’ children. There are plenty of comments about that on the House floor and outside. But this business about the cops really gets me.
It has been a very long time since AOC had to support herself by slinging margaritas. She makes a nice living. She’s got a social media presence. This woman is not hurting for paychecks, as evidenced by her newfound love of fertility treatments to freeze her eggs, which just six years ago she was saying she didn’t think she could afford. Now, she is doing these, some estimated $20,000, treatments for kicks.
She has money, is my point, unlike the inner city children who gunned down in the towns she advocated get rid of their police forces. I am so infuriated by this.
Heather Mac Donald, who is the preeminent authority on keeping track of the damage caused by the BLM’ers like AOC, estimates, based on actual data she got from the FBI, 2,500 additional black homicides happened in the immediate aftermath of the summer of 2020 as a result of the bastardization of the police around America thanks to people like AOC.
This is to say nothing of what happened to Asians and whites and Indians and so on. This is just blacks, and 2,500 of them were killed in the immediate aftermath of summer of 2020 thanks to her insanity. Her push for defunding the cops and demonizing the cops literally got people killed.
AOC was also an equal proponent of cancel culture. I could show you tweet after tweet and comment after comment where she defended it, and that may not have led to the end of lives, but it certainly ruined plenty of them. Ruined.
Here’s AOC on cancel culture: “The term ‘cancel culture’ comes from entitlement – as though the person complaining has the right to a large, captive audience, & one is a victim if people choose to tune them out. Odds are you’re not actually cancelled, you’re just being challenged, held accountable, or unliked.”
I can’t stand this from AOC. Again, look at how cavalier she is about what she helped do to so many innocents: “I have a local city councilman that has this saying, ‘Woke One was crazy.’”
It disgusts me.
