It has been more than three months since The Daily Mail broke the story alleging Kristi Noem’s husband, Bryon Noem, was actively engaged in the online “bimbofication” fetish scene. And now it appears the bombshell report did not stop the 56 year old from continuing to message at least one dominatrix.
During an appearance on the Uncloseted with Spencer Macnaughton podcast, Shy Sotomayor, a dominatrix who says she had a nine-year relationship with Bryon, claimed he reached out to her as recently as last month before she decided to end contact with him.
On Tuesday’s show, Megyn was joined by Victor Davis Hanson, author of The Counterrevolution, to discuss the latest development in the bizarre story.
The Bombshell Report
The Daily Mail dropped its bombshell report in late March about the “secret double life of Kristi Noem’s crossdressing husband,” alleging Bryon was part of the online “bimbofication” fetish scene – a community that involves adult performers massively enlarging their breasts to achieve a “Barbie doll”-like appearance.
He purportedly sent “hundreds” of messages to women in which he praised their overly augmented appearances and shared that he desired “huge, huge ridiculous boobs.” But Bryon participated another way as well.

The Mail obtained photos of him seemingly donning enormous prosthetic breasts while wearing form-fitting spandex. In a selfie shared with one of his virtual contacts that clearly shows his face, the father-of-three appears to have stuffed balloons into his shirt and positioned the knots to resemble nipples (above).
Days after the story dropped, Megyn reported a source told her Bryon had attempted a 12-step program for sex rehab earlier this year but is believed to have dropped out before completing it.
The Latest Revelation
And now it appears as though not even all the reporting on his behavior has stopped him. In an interview released Tuesday, Sotomayor – whom The Daily Mail described as a “5ft sex worker with extra-large 2500cc breast implants” – told Macnaughton that she continued to hear from Bryon even after The Mail’s report.
MACNAUGHTON: You posted to X on June [16] that you, quote, “Can’t keep Bryon out of [your] DMs.” How recently has he DM’d you and what is he saying to you?
SOTOMAYOR: May 17, he texted me on iMessage. He’s like, “I’ve been a really bad boy.” I’m like, “Oh, I know. I know you’ve been a bad boy,” and then he started talking to me directly on WhatsApp, and I had a long talk with my husband. And I was just like, “You know what? I feel like this is truly a sick man. I feel he has a sex addiction and that’s not something I would want to take advantage of.” So I was just like, you know what, I’m going to send Bryon a message. I sent him a very long message saying, “Bryon, I thought really hard on this. You obviously are very sick. You need help. If it’s not clear by now or after being America’s joke, I truly don’t know what is. But I’ve came forward with my story about you. This is just kind of me saying goodbye. If you find another girl who does want to talk to you during this, I’m like shame on both of you. You need to get better.”
She went on to say that Bryon read her message but did not respond and also allegedly ignored a $4,500 invoice. “He read it, did not respond, and then I followed it up with a PayPal invoice of essentially what he owes me. Has not paid me,” Sotomayor added.
Sotomayor said she intends to get what is owed to her one way or another. “I’m not a person to be like, oh, well. I’m gonna take him to small claims court because, one, that’s a lot of money on my end,” she shared. “And two, I was shocked that he was still trying to talk to sex workers. And I still wholeheartedly believe he’s talking to sex workers because I see him on Telegram, on and off. Deactivating his account, reactivating his account.”
A Tragic Tale
If her telling is true, Megyn said the latest twist in the troubling story represents a new low. “When Shy Sotomayor is calling you sick and saying you need help, you’ve reached rock bottom,” she asserted.
Hanson called the situation especially “tragic” when you consider how things have gone career-wise for Kristi, who was forced out of her position as secretary of the Department of Homeland Security earlier this year.
“There is something tragic about this because I remember Kristi Noem when she was a House member, and she was pretty good, and as a governor. And then all of a sudden she had altered her appearance, her dress was inappropriate for her job at Homeland Security, Corey [Lewandowski] was involved,” he explained. “It just seemed that it was a tragedy that… just all imploded.”
And then details started to emerge about Bryon. “We didn’t know really about her husband. We just saw those [family] pictures. He was very religious and straight… so we all thought that he was the victim of this purported affair. And then it turns out that whatever he was doing was so much more bizarre than her… [When] you combined it, it was really tragic. It really was.”
