With the NBA Finals back in New York City for games three and four between the New York Knicks and the San Antonio Spurs, “celebrity row” – as it is known at Madison Square Garden – has been packed with, well, celebrities.

While diehard Knicks fans like Spike Lee, Ben Stiller, Tracy Morgan, and Timothée Chalamet were on hand to take in the action, so too were more fair-weather fans looking to get in on what has been a historic playoff run for the Knicks and thrilling series all around.

Case in point: Taylor Swift, who is not a New York native (though she does own property in Manhattan) and, historically, has seemingly only attended Knicks games for the photo-op.

Megyn’s Take

Megyn had a lot of thoughts on Swift’s game four appearance at MSG, which she laid out on Friday’s show. Watch:

“Speaking of disingenuous, did you guys watch the Miracle at MSG the other night when the Knicks turned it around after being down 30? I’m not even a sports person, but it was unlike anything we’ve ever seen…

The reason I am bringing this up is Taylor Swift was there in the front row, pretending to be a Knicks fan… By the way, she was just at a Knicks-Cavaliers [in Cleveland with fiancé Travis Kelce] rooting for Cleveland. She was there with him. They were rooting for the Cavs.

She is a fake New York Knicks fan, and she is a fake person.”
