It has now been 13 days since Nancy Guthrie was reported missing. The 84 year old disappeared from her Tucson, Arizona, home in the early morning hours of February 1, sparking a massive investigation that now involves local and federal authorities.
A week into the search, MK True Crime host Phil Holloway made his way to Tucson for a firsthand look at what’s happening on the ground. Over the last several days, he spent time outside of Nancy’s house, the neighborhood where her daughter Annie Guthrie and son-in-law Tommaso Cioni live, and the areas where there has been law enforcement activity. He has also spoken to sources and neighbors for a better sense of where the investigation stands.
Along the way, he has joined Megyn for live updates from the various scenes. Keep scrolling for a look at his reporting on The Megyn Kelly Show and X.
Nancy’s Home
Upon arriving in Arizona, Holloway made his way to Nancy’s home to see the terrain, the neighborhood, and other characteristics of the property that would help explain some what may have happened the night she disappeared and what authorities may be looking for.
He joined Megyn on Tuesday to discuss some of the challenges the house could pose to law enforcement:

Annie’s Neighborhood
While the Pima County Sheriff’s Department has maintained that the crime scene is Nancy’s home, there has been a great deal of activity at her daughter’s home and neighborhood at large. Here’s what some of that activity looked like earlier this week:
On Friday’s AM Update, Holloway revealed he has spoken to neighbors of Annie and Cioni who have theories of their own. “The neighbors that I’ve spoken to were not closely acquainted with that family,” he shared. “They tended to say that, you know, they hadn’t been there all that long. They didn’t engage very socially with others in the neighborhood.”
“They did express some specific opinions about the case and about the neighbors. In fact, I think a lot of them believe that there is a direct connection between that house and the crime scene, but this is based on their personal observations and, I guess, their opinions based on those observations,” Holloway added. “But they are not surprised. The big takeaway is they are not surprised that the investigation is physically focusing more and more on that geographic location.”
Surrounding Areas
On Thursday’s edition of The Megyn Kelly Show, Holloway offered a closer look at some of the roadways that have been searched by law enforcement day and night and gave his theory on what exactly the authorities are looking for:
