Remember when Strud went to town on the hot cocoa mix and ice cream in the weeks leading up to Christmas? He still managed to find himself on Santa’s Nice List, but his holiday snack tour continued all the way to Christmas day. We’ll let Megyn tell you what happened:
“So, our friend went hunting for Christmas stocking loot on Christmas morning and came up with a treasure. Yardley found him nose-deep in her stocking eating her Swedish candy and a chocolate-covered pretzel bite.

She shooed him away only to hear him dining on a dessert in Thatcher’s room next door, eating an entire bag of Hi-Chews (remnants above).
And that’s not all. The kids made cookies on Christmas Eve, which, sadly, Strudwick discovered in the morning. He decided they were for him before we could get to the plate. Fortunately, a few remained unscathed.

Once again, not even a hint of illness overcame him from the sugar etc., though he did look fatter by the evening. We gave him slightly less dog food that night and the next morning, which clearly didn’t please him.
It’s not as if Strudwick and Thunder didn’t have any gifts of their own. Here they are sharing some holiday fun from their own stockings:

Let’s just say Strud enjoyed his Christmas. A lot.”
