See New Photos and Video from Jeffrey Epstein’s Private Island Released by House Democrats

House Oversight Democrats

Democrats on the House Oversight Committee released photos and videos on Wednesday from the private island in the Caribbean owned by the late Jeffrey Epstein. The release offers a rare look inside the twisted world of the disgraced financier and convicted sex offender.

The Photos and Videos

As reported on Thursday’s AM Update, the photos and videos – which the Oversight Committee obtained from the U.S. Virgin Islands Department of Justice as part of its investigation into the handling of the Epstein case – are mostly unremarkable.

Several videos show off the large grounds, a pool with multiple cabanas, and a ‘no trespassing’ sign on a beach (above). One image (below) shows a large library-type room with a chalkboard.

A close up shot (below) reveals that scribbled in chalk on the board are the words  “power,” “deception,” “plots,” and “political,” in addition to some redactions.

The creepiest photo (below) features what appears to be a dentist’s chair in a room with 10 masks depicting various male faces hanging on the walls. Two more masks can be seen laying side by side on a countertop.

The Timing

The files were released to the House Oversight Committee in response to a November letter to the attorney general of the U.S. Virgin Islands requesting “all documents and communications” related to the federal or local investigations into Epstein or co-conspirator Ghislaine Maxwell.

“We are releasing these photos and videos to ensure public transparency in our investigation and to help piece together the full picture of Epstein’s horrific crimes,” ranking member of the committee Robert Garcia (D-CA) said in a statement.

A Republican spokesperson for the committee had a different take. “It is odd that Democrats are once again releasing selective information, as they have done before. The last time Democrats cherry-picked and doctored documents, their attempt to construct yet another hoax against President Trump completely collapsed,” the rep told Axios.

The image dump comes as a bipartisan group of five lawmakers requested a briefing from U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi on the status of the DOJ’s effort to release the Epstein files.

President Trump signed the Epstein Files Transparency Act on November 19, setting a 30-day deadline for the public release of all unclassified records, documents, and materials in the DOJ and FBI’s possession regarding Epstein and those who had ties to him.
