Kamala Harris’ memoir 107 Days (a reference to her very brief run for president) is due out September 23, and the first excerpt from the book was published in The Atlantic this week.
While the promos thus far have billed the tome as a “behind-the-scenes” look at the “shortest presidential campaign in modern history.” Harris herself claimed it’s “not a recap of our race” but rather “a candid and personal account” pulled from her journals.
But the early pages read more like a bitch session about her time in the Biden White House than a reflection of what happened in 2024. On Wednesday’s show, Megyn gave her best dramatic reading of the material as she and Pirate Wires editor-in-chief Mike Solana reacted to Harris’ non-stop complaining.
The Complaints
From the border crisis to alleged backstabbing to the chaos of President Joe Biden dropping out of the 2024 election, Harris airs a laundry list of grievances in the newly published except.
What’s Missing
While the except has a distinctively ‘tell all’ vibe, Megyn and Solana discuss the key admission that is missing from the book: Who was actually running the country while Biden was in office?
You can check out Megyn’s full interview with Solana by tuning in to episode 1,145 on YouTube, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you like to listen. And don’t forget that you can catch The Megyn Kelly Show live on SiriusXM’s Triumph (channel 111) weekdays from 12pm to 2pm ET.
