See All of Megyn’s Favorite Behind-the-Scenes Moments from the Filming of ‘Blonde Origin’

How far will Megyn go for a troll? All the way to outer space – or, at least, zero gravity – to follow in the footsteps of the all-female Blue Origin flight that took ‘astronauts’ Gayle King, Katy Perry, and Lauren Sánchez to space and back in 11 minutes flat.

Last weekend, Megyn was joined by Maureen Callahan and her friend and hair stylist Sara Clemente on a gravity-defying excursion with Zero G for the parody project she has dubbed Blonde Origin. Fellow MK Media talent Mark Halperin and Link Lauren remained with their feet firmly planted on the ground to narrate the ride – ahem, mission – that is sure to inspire a generation. If you haven’t already, watch Blonde Origin here.

Needless to say, there is plenty that didn’t make the final cut, so Megyn, Sara, and the MK Media team got together on Friday’s Megyn Kelly Show to reminisce about the experience and share what happened when the camera weren’t rolling. Watch:

Megyn and the crew also took plenty of pictures along the way. Keep scrolling for all of their favorite behind-the-scenes moments:

Where It Started

Before anyone could even think about going to infinity and beyond, Megyn’s assistant Abby needed to make sure they had the proper gear. She took her responsibility so seriously that she personally tested out the astronaut helmets in what Megyn said might be her favorite picture of the entire experience.

Fit Check

Following in the footsteps of the Blue Origin crew who went to great lengths to ensure their flight suits fit just right, Megyn held a special fitting to try on her ensemble and get it tailored just so.

Sara Suits Up

Sara also got a little nip/tuck on her jumpsuit, while Maureen lamented that the “time crunch” did not allow her to make the fitting. Something tells us Sánchez and co. would not approve. Priorities, people!

En Route

To ensure they fully embodied the spirit of the pioneering astronauts who came before them, Megyn and Sara wore their headgear on their way to the airport.

Carb Loading

Megyn shared that the they were no allowed to eat or drink the night before or morning of the mission to help offset any zero gravity-induced queasiness, but they were told to eat a plain bagel (not toasted) once they arrived on site.

Candid Camera

There was time for one last power pose before our inspirational space cadets boarded the aircraft.

Ready for Lift Off

Once on board, the ladies took a selfie to ensure their hair and makeup was camera-ready (after all, Sara’s entire purpose for being on the voyage was to keep everyone’s tresses in tip-top shape).
