The Strudwick File: Peanut Butter Problems

Remember when Strudwick went to town on – count ’em – six bananas last week (Dole stickers and all) that did not agree with his stomach? It wasn’t so much the snack choice that was the problem, but rather the speed and volume at which he consumed it.

Well, it appears to be déjà vu all over again. Strud found the jar of peanut butter this week, which, in theory, isn’t that big of a deal. Many dogs enjoy a bit of peanut butter as a treat, but many dogs don’t consume said treat in quite the same way Strudwick chose to.

“He ate the peanut butter,” Megyn said. “This is what’s left of the jar.”

But that’s not all. Strud also downed yet another bunch of bananas to go with his peanut butter and “belly full of plastic” from the jar. As usual, he proved to be none the worse for the wear. And while we have to tip our cap to the yummy pairing (sans plastic), it looks like Strud didn’t get the portion control memo we hoped for after the last banana incident.

Megyn’s takeaway: “Just when I said he was getting better…”
