It has been 10 days since Donald Trump announced he would be nominating Army National Guard veteran and former Fox News host Pete Hegseth as his secretary of defense. The choice was the first of several surprising picks from the president-elect, and there has been some chatter on Capitol Hill about whether Hegseth will be able to make it through the Senate confirmation process.
