From MK Media’s After Party to The Megyn Kelly Wrap Up Show on SiriusXM to all of her other written and on-air commentary, Emily Jashinsky is one of the busiest women in independent media.
She is also a self-described “tomboy” who owns the same denim shirt in a variety of washes, has never gotten her ears pierced, doesn’t care much about hair and makeup, and names the animated character Doug from the ’90s-era cartoon sitcom as having her “dream” closet because it is stocked with numerous versions of the exact same outfit.
So, you can imagine her surprise (read: panic) when Megyn approached her with the idea of being the guinea pig in a new makeover project she and her team are working on. Ever the good sport, Emily didn’t hesitate to say yes. Behind the scenes, however, she admitted it was the “most uncomfortable thing you could ask me to endure.”
Fortunately, she was in the best hands. Megyn’s longtime hairstylist (and fellow astronaut!), Sara Clemente, and go-to stylist, Molly Cohen, were tasked with elevating Emily’s natural beauty and denim-heavy wardrobe without taking her too far out of her comfort zone.
The ladies worked their magic and Emily debuted the big reveal on Monday’s edition of The Megyn Kelly Show. Watch:

The ‘Before’
Emily sat down with Megyn’s producer Jake before all the glam and styling got underway to give her slightly-concerned-and-nervous-but-also-excited thoughts about what was to come.

Next up? Styling. Emily worked with Megyn’s stylist Molly (left) to try on some outfits inspired by Jennifer Aniston’s character in The Morning Show.
The Contenders
Emily’s love of denim knows no bounds, so Molly showed her how to style the Americana fabric in new ways… and added in a denim-colored dress for good measure.
Winner, Winner
For her makeover debut on The Megyn Kelly Show, Emily opted for this chic blue pantsuit complete with a trusty white t-shirt and versatile black pumps.
All Smiles
Sara, Emily, and Molly were all smiles after a long – but fun! – day in the salon.
