New ‘Vanity Fair’ Profile of WH Chief of Staff Susie Wiles Reveals Bombshells About Trump Administration

A bombshell new Vanity Fair article about Trump Chief of Staff Susie Wiles, written in cooperation with the White House, is sending shockwaves through Washington, D.C.

The result of over a year of access to Wiles and other members of the Trump team, there is plenty of headline-making news in part one of Chris Whipple’s two-part profile. He has Secretary of State Marco Rubio saying he won’t run for president in 2028 if Vice President J.D. Vance does, while Wiles suggested the mortgage fraud case against New York Attorney General Letitia James may have been political retribution.

But the headlines that actually emerged from the piece were far more salacious. Outlets have run with Wiles’ comments about President Trump having an “alcoholic’s personality” and Vance being a “conspiracy theorist for a decade.”

Megyn said it is hard to imagine why Wiles agreed to participate. “I think Susie Wiles is very smart, very savvy woman, but it’s not a surprise that Vanity Fair did an incredibly unfair piece on Susie Wiles that does not make her or anyone in the cabinet look good,” she noted. “I guess the reporter has done all these profiles on chiefs of staff over the years, but… Vanity Fair hates conservatives so you kind of should know what you’re going to get.”

On Tuesday’s show, Megyn was joined by the hosts of Ruthless – Josh Holmes, Comfortably Smug, Michael Duncan, and John Ashbrook – to discuss the biggest takeaways from the article and the subtle and not-so-subtle ways the magazine’s bias shines through.

The Revelations

Megyn and the fellas discuss what the profile reveals about the Trump administration, the most surprising parts of the piece, the newsworthy tidbits not getting as much attention, the bias revealed from the reporter, and more.

The Pictures

A closer look at the virtually unrecognizable images of Wiles, Karoline Leavitt, and other Trump officials in the Vanity Fair profile, how the photo selection reveals the outlet’s bias, the way people on the right are often unfairly portrayed in the corporate press, and more.
