‘My Head Hurts’: Megyn Tries to Decipher What Kamala Harris Was Rambling About in Australia

It remains to be seen if Kamala Harris’ political future includes a run for California governor in 2026 or U.S. president again in 2028, but she is using her downtime to… speak at a real estate event in Australia.

The bizarre speaking engagement surfaced on social media earlier this week after an attendee recorded the former vice president’s appearance. The video reveals Harris treated the audience to her signature ‘word salads’ about everything from Playboy to human intelligence.

On Wednesday’s show, Megyn was joined by Alan Dershowitz, author of The Preventive State, to discuss Harris’ befuddling reemergence on the world stage.

Kamala Goes Abroad

The failed 2024 Democrat nominee made her way to the land down under on Sunday to be a guest at the 2025 Australian Real Estate Conference in Gold Coast.

During her hour-long sit-down with Aussie real estate mogul John McGrath, Harris took a swipe at Elon Musk, likened the Trump administration’s “America First” foreign policy to 1930s isolationism, told an awkward story involving her mother and Playboy magazine, and waxed poetic about human intelligence.

It was the latter that Megyn found most inspiring. “When you have the ability to understand the context in which you live, the context in which others live, you’re more likely to then connect with them and understand what’s important to them,” Harris began.

She then offered her highly evolved perspective on intelligence. “This is the thing that I’ve also known about life, and I’m sure everyone here understands: The vast majority of human beings are very intelligent – regardless of their education level, regardless of where they’re from – and intelligent enough to know whether when you are looking at them, you are looking at them with a level of respect,” she continued. “They will know that you are someone who is actually interested in their life, and their reality, and their fears, and their dreams or not.”

After some additional drivel, Harris offered this takeaway about one of her favorite topics – work. “It requires you to be self-aware enough to understand that you may not understand their life,” she added, “and then do some work to figure out how you can understand it better.”

‘My Head Hurts’

Megyn joked that her head hurt after listening to the profundity-laced monologue, while Dershowitz estimated Harris was being paid “$1,000 a cliche.” The Daily Mail reported tickets to the weekend event cost between $995 and $1,695, though there is no word yet on what Harris raked in for her appearance.

Harris was an odd choice for a real estate conference, Megyn noted, because of her lack of experience in real estate, entrepreneurship, or anything of the sort. Perhaps that is why she repeated one of her go-to ‘tough guy’ mottos when she was asked to give advice to young women in the real estate industry. “I don’t hear no,” she said. “I eat no for breakfast.”

“She is represented by CAA here in America, one of the biggest agencies out there, and they are apparently having trouble finding jobs for her domestically because they had to ship her halfway around the world in order to get a paid gig,” Megyn said. “And I just want the audience to know, this is how she sounds. This is what they paid I don’t know how much for.”

In Megyn’s view, moments like these further emphasize how ill-equipped Harris was to be president. “Kamala Harris – let’s face it – was a DEI hire as vice president and would have been a DEI hire had we voted her in as president,” she said. “I’m sorry, but we were being sold a bill of goods. There is no ‘there’ there. This is what DEI gets you… an empty suit who they prop up as, in her case, the next [Barack] Obama… some intellect who could not be touched and could not be questioned… when we all knew she was not.”
