I cannot ignore the disaster that was Kamala Harris’ first solo cable news interview with MSNBC’s Stephanie Ruhle.
I’ve got a lot of criticism for Stephanie Ruhle, but I do not put her in the same category as those ABC News debate moderators or even CNN’s Dana Bash. She did ask some challenging questions, though there were no follow ups and none on Harris’ flip-flops, which was just incredibly frustrating to watch.
But I am grading on a curve here because, when everyone fails the test, someone has got to be given a D-plus. And the real story here is Kamala Harris and how she answered the questions. She was terrible. She was absolutely awful.
I actually don’t really understand why she can’t do the memorization trick that she did for the debate for these interviews. She knows she is going to sit for this interview with a woman who has a business news background. She has just given an economic speech. Why wouldn’t you get your little note card team together and come up with a few actual answers on your economic plan and on its weaknesses that you might get asked about?
I don’t get it – unless those people aren’t very good about making note cards that aren’t about Donald Trump. That might actually explain it.
The interview was all filler. From the “hopes, and dreams, and aspirations” to the “middle class” upbringing to the “we have to reduce red tape,” it was all empty, rambling, word salad.
I listened to the entire interview and I walked away with this: I am out. I have heard enough. I object on every level I have inside of me to object. If you vote for that as president, then you deserve what you are going to get. I do not deserve it. The people who are going to vote for Donald Trump do not deserve it.
It is a calamity how dumb this person is and that she has been placed in this position by the Democratic Party by fiat. There are smart people in the Democrat Party. She is just not one of them. The smart ones were not allowed to run when Joe Biden was seeking to be renominated or once he got couped right out of office.
They elevated Kamala Harris for all the same DEI nonsense principles that they used to put her in the vice presidency, not to mention the attorney general position in California and probably the U.S. Senate seat. She is not a smart person, and that is on display every time she sits down for an interview.
So with that, I say: Keep it rolling, Kamala. You go with your instincts. You are on a roll now post-debate. You can do this, Kamala. Keep talking. That is all Trump needs.
