In case you missed last week’s edition of The Strudwick File, our four-legged friend found himself in the animal hospital for a few days as he recovered from aspiration pneumonia in both lungs (get the full story here).
Megyn had shared that Strudwick was a little more sluggish than usual, but he was expected to make a full recovery in about a month’s time. As it turns out, Strud is nothing if not an overachiever.
Last weekend, Megyn and her husband Doug were in Atlantic City, which meant Doug’s siblings were on dog-sitting duty. Rather than make his new caretakers remember when to give him his medication, Strudwick put on his doctor’s coat and took it upon himself to administer the dose.
As you can see the remnants above, he hasn’t quite mastered the art of cleaning up just yet. But the good news is that sweet Strud is back to regular shenanigans. “He is 100 percent fine,” Megyn said. “And it did not take a month!”
